Seasons Change!

One of the songs we have listened to a lot during transitions over the years is a song by United Pursuit titled Seasons Change. It is a good reminder that even though we go through so many transitions in life His love remains. He is faithful in every season. That is a truth we hold on to. The knowledge that the same God who was faithful yesterday is still faithful today keeps us going. What a truth to cling to.

We are filled with gratitude for all the Lord did in 2022. We often dream about a myriad of things and it is so amazing to see the Lord bring some of those dreams to pass. Last year God provided a team leader that many have prayed for for over 5 years. What an encouragement. We have been praying for God to provide a mobilizer for Lesotho and God in His kindness has sent us a couple that is ready to go there this year. What a faithful God!! We have seen many other answers to prayer in the ministry and in pour family as well.

When we see God answer our little prayers we realise how we often don’t trust Him enough. We are timid to dare ask Him for just one more thing. Pray that we will be bold enough to trust God for more open doors for gospel witness, for more churches to be mobilized and for more workers to be sent reach the unreached.

Thank you for being part of our story and our journey. Your prayers and financial support enable us to continue doing this ministry. Thank you.

FAMILY UPDATE

We are grateful for your prayers for the transition back to Johannesburg. We underestimated how much work that will be. Setting up home, searching for schools and then setting up office took a whole lot of work. By the end of January we were totally exhausted. 3 months after the relocation later we finally feel a bit settled and have some rhythm of life and ministry.

Ntunga has made significant progress in adjusting to life in Johannesburg. He is now happy to go to school. His teacher told us this week that he fully participates in class and engages well with both the teacher and fellow students. We are grateful for this answer to prayer.

Thabi continues to thrive at school. She was nervous about learning Afrikaans but she is making some very good progress with the Afrikaans. Her biggest challenge is probably parents who can’t really help her well with her Afrikaans homework. We have to constantly call on Google Translate for help😀.

Lesotho

Last year we invited the Longwe’s (from Malawi) to consider going to Lesotho to mobilize churches there for missions. After a few months of praying, they  informed us that they have decided to go to Lesotho. Levi is a pastor and missions mobilizer. Lucia, is a nurse and they have 2 kids, a girl, Grace (11) and Tawonga a boy (8). This is a highly gifted family and we are excited to have them join our team in Lesotho. Lesotho sent its first missionaries as early as the late 17th century so we are excited to have this family relocate to Maseru to spur believers there for missions once again. Please pray for them as they prepare for this big move and as they raise funds to enable them to live and work in Lesotho.

Madagascar

  • The Confiance’s from the Seychelles just finished their orientation to AIM in Kenya. They are now back in their home country doing final fundraising. Please pray that the Lord will provide the remaining funds needed for them to relocate to Madagascar. Pray also for any final logistical and legal things they need to finalise before leaving. As they transition please pray that this will be a much easy transition for the family.
  • Manoa Ratovona took over the leadership of this Unit in January. Would you please pray for him, his wife Vola and their kids as they adjust to new responsibilities. Pray for wisdom for Manoa as he leads and supports our missionaries spread across this Island.

NEW TEAMS

  • The Mahajanga Onboarding team launching in August 2023. AIM Onboarding teams are 1 year training teams designed to prepare new missionaries for ministries.
  • We are launching a 2 year training team in the Islands starting in January 2023.  TIMO is an AIM program designed  to equip people for long term ministry. Please pray that the Lord will send us the right people. Pray for J and A as they prepare to lead this team. Pray that the father will adequately prepare them for the task ahead.
  • IGNITE is a 1 to 2 weeks missions exposure program designed for pastors and missions leaders. We have 2 opportunities coming up this year in Mozambique and South Africa. Would you come and join us and experience ministry here in Southern Africa? Or do you know someone who could benefit from this program? Please let them send us an email we would love to chat with them. Our prayer is that as the pastors come and experience ministry here in Southern Africa they will be Ignited for mission. Please pray for the fruitfulness of this program.

Thank you Friend for your friendship and partnership in the Gospel. We are praying that our Father will continue to refresh you as you continue to encourage us.

Yours in Christ

Tshepang, Queen, Lethabo and Ntungamili
